Watermark Options

The watermark is applied as a diagonal tiled pattern over the preview image to prevent screenshot theft:

  • Watermark Text: The displayed text (e.g. Pixalo Studio or PREVIEW).
  • Font Size: Scale the text continuously from 20px to 200px to ensure optimal readability on different displays.
  • Opacity: Determine how transparent the watermark is printed (e.g., 50% for good protection with high image visibility).
  • Density: Controls the tiling ratio. Higher values tile the text more densely across the image area.

Image Resolution (Demo Images)

For fast loading of customer galleries, Pixalo compresses the image files in the storefront. Define the rendering limits for these demo images here:

  • Max Width (px) & Max Height (px): The maximum dimensions for the preview file (default: 1200px x 800px). Larger values improve detail but increase loading times for end users.
  • JPEG Quality: The compression level in percent (default: 70%). A balanced value saves bandwidth while displaying appealing images.

Scope of the Settings

Please note: Changes to the watermark or demo resolution are only applied to newly uploaded photos. If you want to change the watermark for already uploaded photos in existing jobs, the photos must be uploaded again.
