SEO Configuration (Meta Tags)

Under "Settings" click on the "SEO" tab to customize the appearance of your online shop in search engines:

Configuration Options in Detail:

  • Meta Title: The main title of your website in search results (also displayed in the browser tab). Recommended length: maximum 60 characters.
  • Meta Description: The brief description of your shop that Google displays below the title. Write an inviting description to encourage customers to click. Recommended length: maximum 160 characters.
  • Keywords (Comma-separated): Add relevant keywords (e.g., Photographer Berlin, kindergarten photos, school photographer).

Google Analytics Integration (GA4)

Link your shop with Google Analytics 4 in the "Tracking" tab to gain key insights into customer buying behavior:

GA4 Measurement ID

Enter your unique Google Analytics 4 stream ID (format: G-XXXXXXXXXX). The system automatically validates the format as you type.

How to find your Measurement ID at Google:Google Analytics Dashboard → Gear icon (Admin) → Data Streams → Select Web Stream → Copy Measurement ID at the top right.

Enable/Disable Tracking

Use the toggle switch to enable or disable data collection globally at any time. When disabled, no tracking code is loaded in the customer shop.

Automatically Tracked E-Commerce Events

Once Google Analytics is active, Pixalo sends standardized events in the background to help you analyze your funnel:

  • page_view: When parents open a gallery page.
  • view_item: When a photo or product is expanded/viewed in detail.
  • add_to_cart: When prints, files, or packages are added to the cart.
  • begin_checkout: When the checkout process starts in the shopping cart.
  • purchase: Upon successful payment completion (includes revenue amount to measure ROI).
