Create a New Discount Code

Go to Products & Shop → Discount Codes in the dashboard and click "+ New Discount Code" in the top right. The form offers versatile setup options for precise control of your discounts.

Basic Information & Code Generation

Enter the desired code name (e.g., SUMMER20). Clicking the "Generate" button instantly creates a random, 5-digit code for you.

Discount Type: Choose between Percentage (%) or a Fixed Amount (€). Fixed amounts are stored in cents (for example, €5.00 = 500 cents).
Discount Value: The exact discount value (e.g., "20" for Percentage or "5" for Fixed Amount).

Set Validity & Restrictions

Restrict the use of the voucher code systematically to prevent misuse:

📅 Validity Period & LimitsSet the start date and an optional expiration date. Use the **Usage Limit** to control how many times the code can be redeemed in total (e.g., only for the first 50 ordering customers).
🏷️ Event & Customer BindingLink the discount to an event so that it can only be used there. Use the **Customer Restriction** to search for a specific registered customer and unlock the code exclusively for that email address.

Bind & Activate Discount Codes to Events

When you link a discount code to a specific event, a special control element appears on the event detailed page in the dashboard. Here you can activate the voucher code and select it directly for printing on the QR access cards.

Explanation of the marked areas:

Voucher Selection for the Event

Simply click on the badge of the desired discount code (e.g., SUMMER20) in the **"Discount codes for this event"** area. The selected code is outlined in green and marked with a checkmark. It is then preselected for printing on the access cards of this event.

QR Codes Generation & Print

Click on the "QR Codes" button in the student list. This redirects you to the flyer generator, where the previously selected discount code is automatically integrated into the layout of your access cards.

Important Notice on Printing Limit

Only one discount code can be active at a time for printing on the QR access cards. If no code is selected, the QR cards are generated without voucher details.

Print QR Cards with Voucher Badge

Once the discount code has been linked in the event, the on-flyer generator automatically switches to voucher mode. When clicking "Print access cards" you will see the voucher badge on each flyer in the print preview.

Display on the Different Layout Templates:

    Premium Flyer (Marketing Template):

    At the top right, a prominent voucher loop is printed with the code (e.g., SUMMER20) and the exact savings (e.g., -20% or -€5). Perfect for parent letters.

    Kids Fun Template & Standard:

    The voucher code is placed in a formatted style in the lower information area right next to the individual student access code. This provides the incentive to register for the gallery immediately upon unpacking the flyer.

Proven Discount Strategies for Photographers

⏱️ The "Early-Bird" Bonus

Create a discount code with a usage limit of, say, 30 redemptions. Write in the code description: "Fast Buyer Discount: First 30 parents receive 10% off the total cart". This triggers an artificial scarcity and accelerates orders in the first week after distribution.

💶 Use Minimum Order Value Smartly

Offer a fixed value voucher (e.g., 5 euros off with code WELTM5), but link it to a minimum order value of, say, 25.00 euros. Parents tend to add another photo or product to the cart to exceed the threshold and activate the discount.
