General & Branding

Under the "General" tab, you customize the visible external appearance of your online shop. Here you define how customers perceive your shop.

General branding settings

Adjustable fields in detail:

  • Shop Name: The public name of your shop, which is displayed in emails, invoices, and on the sales page.
  • Subdomain (Public URL): Your default shop address (e.g. yourname.pixalo.shop).
  • Upload Logo: Upload your company logo. This will be used in the shop header and in all transactional customer emails.
  • Color Scheme (Theme Color): Select your primary color. This determines the design of buttons, highlights, and links in the checkout area.

Security & Danger Zone

Manage access to your dashboard, activate additional protection, and manage the lifecycle of your account in the "Security" tab.

Change Password

Enter your current password and the new desired password to securely update your login credentials.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Increase your account's protection. Once activated, you must additionally enter a temporary security code from your authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator or Bitwarden) with each login.

Danger Zone: Delete Account Permanently

If you decide to stop using Pixalo, you can permanently delete your entire account and all associated shops here.

IMPORTANT NOTICE ON DELETION

Deletion is final and irreversible. All uploaded photos, created events, products, customer and order data will be deleted.

According to statutory retention obligations, tax-relevant documents (already generated invoices and credit notes) must remain stored in our archive for the legally prescribed period, but are unlinked from your deleted profile.

Shipping Costs & Delivery

If you sell physical products such as photo prints or photo gifts, set the delivery conditions in the "Shipping" tab.

Shipping Parameters:

  • Shipping Costs: The flat-rate amount added at checkout if the order contains at least one physical product.
  • Free Shipping From: Define the minimum order value above which the customer is no longer charged shipping costs (leave the field empty to deactivate this option).

Legal & Mandatory Details

A legally compliant online shop requires terms and conditions, privacy policy, and a legal notice. Pixalo provides its own editors for this in the "Legal" tab.

Linking in Checkout

The texts you enter here will be displayed to your customers as mandatory links for confirmation in the footer of your shop and before placing a paid order (checkout).

Other Settings at a Glance

In addition to the areas shown above, your settings menu contains other important administrative subpages:

Company

Enter your official company address, owner, tax numbers (VAT ID), and contact details here. This information is automatically entered in the letterhead of PDFs and invoices.

Currency & Tax

Configure your base currency (e.g. EUR or CHF) and tax calculation. You can specify whether your prices are declared as gross prices (incl. VAT) or net prices (excl. VAT) in the shop by default.

Countries

Determine the geographic reach of your shop. Enable or disable shipping countries to which your customers may place orders.

Tracking

For marketing and conversion optimization, you can store tracking IDs such as Google Analytics (G-XXXXX) or the Meta Pixel here. Integration takes place in compliance with privacy laws in the background.
