Mobile Shooting (Sessions)

The core of the Pixalo photographer app is the Session System. Instead of painstakingly handing QR cards to every student, you simply start a session for each student on your smartphone or tablet. We log the exact time – our AI automatically matches everything later when uploading the images!

1. Create a New Session

At the beginning of your photo day, you create a new session. Click the plus icon in the "Sessions" tab and give the session a name (e.g. "Day 1 - Morning").

2. AI-powered List Recognition (Camera OCR)

Are you missing students in the system? No problem! The app features intelligent AI image recognition. Simply take a photo of a printed or handwritten class list directly with your smartphone. Our AI (OCR) analyzes the image, instantly extracts all student names, and automatically adds them to the selected class in the system. You save yourself the tedious manual typing!

3. Select Event & Class

Once the session has started (and optionally the list is scanned), navigate through your events and classes. Select the class that is currently standing in front of your camera. You will instantly see the name list of all assigned students.

4. The Photo Moment (Start & Stop)

Is the student ready? Tap their name in the list. 1. Tap "Shooting Start". The app now remembers the exact start time in seconds. 2. Photograph the student as usual with your professional camera. 3. When you are done, tap "Shooting Completed". The end time is saved.

5. Check Status

Once a shoot has been completed, the student receives a green checkmark in the class list and moves to the end of the list depending on the sorting. This way, you always have a perfect overview of who is still missing and who is already captured!

Great! Before the magic can begin, the recorded timestamps from your smartphone must be securely uploaded to the cloud.
